Mission statement/description
Magdalen College is a four-year co-educational Roman Catholic college.  It offers a bachelor of arts and associate of arts degree in Liberal Arts.  The mission of Magdalen College is to give an integrated Catholic liberal arts education: to teach and form students intellectually, morally, socially, and spiritually.

The mission is accomplished throught the rigorous study of works by great thinkers, close personal interaction between teachers and students, and a vibrant community life.  The Program of Studies thus prepares young people to live life well and assume an active and competent role in the modern world.

Qualifications for entry
The two most important parts of a prospective student's application are the letter of application and an overnight campus visit, including an interview with an admissions representative.  The primary criterion for enrollment is the applicant's demonstrated willingness to participate wholeheartedly in the Program of Studies.
Formation program
Mass and Adoration are offered daily; the Rosary is prayed in the evenings; and other liturgical actions and devotions contribute to the growth of baptismal faith. The College offers spiritual retreats during the second semester.  Ten percent of the College's graduates go on to priestly or religious vocations.
