The Institute on
Religious Life (IRL) is delighted to announce that the 2005 "Here
I am Lord" vocations conference will take place at St. Patrick
Catholic Church in St. Charles, Illinois. This third annual event
will take place February 11–13, 2005, and will feature a
special vocations fair from 5:00 pm Friday to 1:00 pm Sunday
of that weekend. This dynamic conference drew over 1,000 teenagers
in its first two years.
The theme of the weekend is "Called to be Holy." Scheduled
speakers include Most Rev. Thomas G. Doran, Bishop of Rockford/IRL
President, Fr. Stan Fortuna, C.F.R., and Matt Smith from MTV and
LifeTeen, with music by Bob Rice and Chris Padgett. Msgr. Joseph
Linster, Pastor, and Mike Zak, Director of Youth Ministry, of St.
Patrick's cordially invite IRL Affiliate communities to attend,
and they encourage them to take advantage of this excellent opportunity
