New Vocations DVD Helps Young People Find, Follow & Fulfill God's Call to the Consecrated Life

Chicago, IL - The Institute on Religious Life (IRL) announces the release of the 2-DVD set: Completely Christ's : The Radical Call of the Consecrated Life, created in collaboration with LifeWork Press and featuring several of its Affiliate religious communities. Produced by Rick Sarkisian, Ph.D., Completely Christ's features one DVD devoted to helping Catholics, especially young people, discern God's call for their lives (with special emphasis on the priestly and consecrated life), and a "bonus" DVD featuring a previously unreleased message on vocations from Bl. Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

"God has a unique call for each of His children - a special and unrepeatable role in the story of salvation - but too many Catholics simply don't listen for their call," Sarkisian said. " Completely Christ's is packed with fresh advice and powerful insights on the priesthood and consecrated life, designed not only to help you discern God's call for your life, but to respond to it and live it out in the real world every day."

Using a three-step process to help viewers "find, follow and fulfill" God's call, Completely Christ's features compelling interviews with men and women who have followed God's call to the consecrated life. The key speakers include Fr. Mitch Pacwa, SJ; Fr. Benedict Groeschel, CFR; Fr. Brian Crawford, OSJ; Sr. Marie Suzanne, OCD; Sr. Gloria Therese, OCD; and Br. Louis Mary, OFM Conv. Sarkisian also shares his perspective as a lay expert on vocations.

The "bonus" DVD presents a never-before-seen message by Mother Teresa, speaking on vocations at a 1981 Institute on Religious Life conference. The DVD presents not only her message, but also her responses to questions from the audience.

The Institute on Religious Life was was founded in 1974 by Fr. John A. Hardon, S.J., to foster and support vocations to the consecrated life. It has almost 150 affiliated communities and over 4000 individual associate members among bishops, priests, religious and laity. Through its many programs, publications and public events, the IRL strives to "create a culture of vocations," as the Holy Father has been urging the Church to do.

The cost of the Completely Christ's DVD is $24.95 + $6 S&H. To purchase a copy, please contact the IRL Office at 773-267-1195 or visit www.religiouslife.com .
