How to Whitelist IRL's Emailed ItemsNot getting IRL's free e-newsletter or other emailed items? Maybe your software has blocked us by its spam-protection methods. Your Internet service provider (or you, or both) might be aggressively filtering your email to prevent spam. Unfortunately, the more aggressive the filter, the less likely you'll get legitimate email such as our timely and informative newsletter, IRL News Briefs. Follow these simple instructions to set your e-mail program to accept our newsletters. This is called "whitelisting." Do this by setting your email program to automatically
allow us to get into your inbox. Here are step-by-step instructions
for whitelisting the email address that we use, religiouslife@ameritech.net,
for many mail programs: 1. Under the Tools menu, choose Junk Mail
Filter 1. Under the Tools menu, choose Options 1. Go to AOL Keyword: Mail Center, or the Mail Center online 2. Click on Mail Options 3. Under Spam, click on Filters 4. Click on Add 5.
